BIO:

Dr. Cruz is a board certified Family Physician. As a member of Rancho Paseo Medical Group he is committed to providing total quality care to patients of all ages in the Pass area. Dr. Cruz’s experience and understanding of patients and their diverse needs physically, emotionally, and spiritually helps distinguish his service as a Family Physician.

Dr. Cruz received his M.D. from New York Medical College and completed a Family Medicine Residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houson, Texas. While at New York he did a fellowship in Pathology at Yale-New Haven after which he completed a Surgical Pathology residency at Stanford in California.

Prior to joining Rancho Paseo Medical Group Dr. Cruz was a member of Loma Linda University Family Practice group with obstetric privileges at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Before coming to Southern California, Dr. Cruz practiced Family Medicine in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Cruz believes being a physician and caring for patients is a great privilege. His aim is to treat his patients as he would like to be treated, with respect and kindness.

Dr. Cruz is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.

Memberships include: American Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine, Texas Medical Society, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, American Medical Association, and California Medical Society.
